World Rugby Player of the Year Nominee To Serve four-match Ban
Following his dismissal against South Africa last weekend, France captain Antoine Dupont received a four-match suspension, while Springboks loose-forward Pieter-Steph du Toit received a three-match suspension.
In a nasty fall that forced him to miss the rest of the game, Bok wing Cheslin Kolbe had his legs taken out by Dupont during his team's 30-26 victory against Marseille on Saturday.
An independent Disciplinary Committee lowered Dupont's suspension from the maximum eight weeks to just four since it determined that his actions were careless rather than deliberate. He also acknowledged his culpability.
He will therefore be absent from Toulouse's two Top 14 games, their Champions Cup match against Munster on December 11, their final international test of the season against Japan on Saturday.
