Taking place in modern-day Kenya, Country Queen is a family drama that chronicles the struggle of common Kenyans against a corporate force that threatens to destroy their lives and homes. The series focuses on the problems of land grabbing and exploitation and how these elements affect the lives and relationships of the major characters, their families, and their communities.
